An introduction to UK hip hop poet, Kate Tempest, who has one concert in the Wellington International Festival, Monday 24 February 2020, Michael Fowler Centre, starting 8 pm. Five songpoems by Kate Tempest, taken from three CDs. The most recent CD (Traps and Lessons, 2019) was produced by Rick Rubin, pioneer hip hop producer (Run DMC and others), and also revived the career of Johnny Cash. three of the poems shared come from this CD.
