West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy is Now Open! 8am-9am PT/ 11am-Noon ET for our especially special Daily Specials, Smothered Benedict Wednesdays!
Starting off in the Bistro Cafe, commenting on former Republican congressman Pete Sessions being subpoenaed in the Guiliani criminal probe, a NY Fed insider exclaimed, “what I’ve seen horrifies me.”
Then, on the rest of the menu, one hundred and seventy-five thousand voters were restored to the voting rolls ahead of Kentucky's November election; a family of British vacationers who accidentally drove across the US/Canada border near Vancouver, have been detained for over two weeks with their three month-old infant in an ice box baby gulag in Pennsylvania; and, the Department of Defense refuses to comply with the House committees’ subpoena of documents, citing the White House claim of an “illegitimate Impeachment.”
After the break, we move to the Chef’s Table where Doctors Without Borders are forced to flee northern Syria after Trump withdrew US troops there; and, rescuers continue to search for the missing, as the death toll climbs to seventy-four from one of the worst typhoons to ever hit Japan.
All that and more, on West Coast Cookbook & Speakeasy with Chef de Cuisine Justice Putnam.
Bon Appétit!

"To those of us who believe that all of life is sacred every crumb of bread and sip of wine is a Eucharist, a remembrance, a call to awareness of holiness right where we are. I want all of the holiness of the Eucharist to spill out beyond church walls, out of the hands of priests and into the regular streets and sidewalks, into the hands of regular, grubby people like you and me, onto our tables, in our kitchens and dining rooms and backyards.”
