Lisa focuses on communication pathways at the “bleeding edge” of
technological innovation using telecoms, games and robots as virtual
collaboration tools. Her applied knowledge of information architecture, A.I.,
storytelling and human-computer interaction goes across media and across
disciplines. Her production experience for screen and digital media includes
the design of real, virtual and mixed-reality environments for music,
commerce, medicine, disaster resilience, wellness, film/TV, publishing and
online learning. She has produced Hollywood script materials for MTV, ETV,
Fox, CBS and Working Title. She has exhibited digital artworks at Pratt
Institute of Arts and Engineering New York, the Science Museum at Trinity
College Dublin and Melbourne Museum. She has pioneered user-experience
and avatar design for virtual environments and she gets un-plugged in her
spare time by playing drums and producing physical theatre. Her PhD in
Media Ecology is from New York University.
