On Transfiguration Sunday we usually remember Jesus walking with Moses and Elijah and his transfiguration. But how about the way Jesus transfigured the life and institutions of his society and ours? For example, in this story for example Jesus completely transfigures the definition of family for those listening to him then and for those of us who read his words today.

Paul expanded the definition of family to include everyone.
