West Hartford Town Council member Leon Davidoff recently switched his party affiliation from Republican to Democrat. Republicans are calling for his resignation, citing Connecticut's minority representation law. A legal opinion issued by the Town's Corporation Council stated Davidoff can remain on the Council until the next election.
