What do your prayers sound like? Many people only go to God when they want or need something. Some of us were taught the “A.C.T.S.” model of prayer: Adoration - Confession - Thanksgiving - Supplication. Others insist that the Lord’s prayer (“Our Father…”) is the only one needed, but the Bible invites us to pray “with all kinds of prayers” (Eph 6:18; NIV).

King David offers us a beautiful model of prayer in Psalm 28 (“To you, O Lord, I call…”). In this message, we examine his words and emulate his example in our own praising and petitioning of the Lord.
