Grace prevails even in the depth of seemingly hopeless, incestuous and immoral family, to bring redemption and begin the turnaournd of a broken man. To be convicted by his own sinfulness over the upholding of the appearance of superficial righteousness will be the key to Judah's transformation.

Genesis 37

The juxtaposition of the blessing of Jacob, the renunciation of idolatry, and the fulfillment of Jacob's vow with three deaths, Reuben's sin, and Esau's flourishing displays the paradox of life for the church in the current evil age. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation - and yet in ourselves, our families, our church, and our world, we see the residual effect of the old creation. Sin and death will still encounter the believer and the church at every turn. However, our hope is that even in this residual sin, this lingering death, the promises of God are being fulfilled for our good and His glory.

After Jacob's wrestling transformation with God, he returns to fulfill his vow and leads his family to consecration and worship in following the Lord. God uses personal transformation to bring about the transformation of our homes. Introduce the Faith Path program from WHome.

God continues to bring to fulfillment His promises to Abraham of land, seed and blessing through the life of Jacob, the child of the promise, and now through his sons, who begin God's plan to grow them into a great nation, the nation of Israel. This growth into a great nation comes through the growing pains of generational sin and brokenness to reflect God's triumphant grace.
