On Sunday we had the honor of having Paul Richardson as he gave a powerful message. Paul is the pastor of Take Hold Church which will be planting a church in Scotland in 2023. His message was titled “The Art of the Setup.” God delights in the setup. He cares about even the smallest details and events in our lives. He is sovereign and perfectly crafts each moment in our lives with care and delicacy. Join our host, Chase Gentes and his guest, none other than Paul Richardson.

Yesterday’s passage in our series, "The Gospel of Mark", focused specifically on the topic of keeping the Sabbath.? As Gentiles and New Testament (Church Age) believers, we are not tied down to keeping a specific day of Sabbath as we see in the Jewish context. However, that doesn’t mean observing the Sabbath isn’t beneficial. The Sabbath is biblical and it should be something that we intentionally weave into our weekly schedule. Join Julie Rape, our host, and her guests Blake Odgers and Chase Gentes.

Everything about our world and culture says to “perform” and “earn.” Scripture is full of commands we are called to obey, but when we make them the priority over Jesus we fall into the topic of this week’s teaching and discussion from Mark 2. Join our host, Jason Chandler, and his wife, Rachel, as they talk about the battle of legalism on our After Message Podcast.
