When the angle Gabriel announced that Mary was to be the mother of the Son of God it was certainly an interruption to her plans. However, in this interruption Mary trusted God’s will for her life. But still, this interruption was an unscripted event for her. How would she tell her parents? Where would she find comfort and strength? How would people react to the truth she spoke? When we find ourselves in the unscripted parts of life where do we turn, what do we say, and what do we do?

Finances are one area that causes confused thinking. More marriage problems and divorces are over money and financial tension than anything else. As we close out our brief look at Clear Thinking, I want to share with you 5 habits you need to develop in order for your finances to be the way God wants them to be and for you to be financially free!

We cannot watch an hour of television without some commercial trying to convince us to spend our dollars with them. Whether it is a personal care product, an automotive product, a technology product, or a humanitarian cause, our minds are full of all sorts of sorts of ways to spend our resources. No wander clear thinking about finances is so tough. However, as Christians we have a pretty good authority on the use of resources; God Himself. Today we turn our attention to tithing and giving. In doing so we ask why we give and find answers in seven reasons.

“It is your story, it is my story, but most of it is the greatest story ever told, it is God’s Story.” Over the last thirty-one plus weeks we have journeyed through the pages of the Bible using The Story as our guide. We have witnessed the work of the creator and the destruction of man. We have seen God relentlessly pursue a restored relationship with us. Restoration came in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because of His love and salvation we can have confidence in eternal life with God through Jesus. In Jesus we are more than conqueror, we are victors; simply put we win!
