# TheVoiceOfAnfieldGeorgeSephton ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

On this Episode of West Underground we’re joined by The Voice Of Anfield, the one and only George Sephton ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

It’s safe to say Jack’s head “blew off” when George agreed to do this 🤯

@LiverpoolFc Fans, you’re going to love this one!

George tells the boys about his half a century at Liverpool Football Club, through the ups and the downs and how picking the right song, in the right moment has left an effect on peoples lives that they will never forget.

George Sephton is synonymous with Liverpool, he has one of the most recognisable voices in the world. Which also makes it one of the most impersonated 🦜

We discussed the importance of Liverpool Fc’s anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone” and how it lifts the people, when they’re happy or even when they feel like the world is against them

George told us about the importance of music in the city of Liverpool and how he plays his part as a Custodian and safe keeper of its tradition by showcasing local music to a packed Anfield every other Saturday and in some of European footballs most epic nights. George also recalls his earlier days with another local Liverpool band…The Beatles

Thank you to the Legend that is George Sephton for his time, thank you for making this a memory that we will certainly never forget.

Video Killed The Radio Star? 💋 ………..

#Gordie #kissfm #podcast #radio #australianmusic #sydney #sydneymusic

Jack & Hamish sat down with legendary radio host @gordiewaters at his Studio in an undisclosed location 💋

Joining them was Paul & Jordan who photographed and chronicled the interview all whilst enjoying the hell out of it.

Gordie told us about his introduction into radio, how travel helps you grow as an individual. We discussed his transition into fatherhood and the differences between Sydney and his hometown of Melbourne.

As grown up as this all sounds, the boys did eventually do a penis puppet show which is not as bad as that sounds.

We also spoke about Gordie’s fantastic podcast @thedriveshow.com.au

This is definitely just the beginning of what I’m sure will be a long standing love affair with Gordie being a guest on West Undergroud pod.

Listen to the legend himself, 10am-3pm weekdays Live on Kiis1065

We’d like to thank you for continuing to build and grow this community at West Underground

And we thank you for your supporting our podcast
