Our passage in Romans takes us to the understanding that God has made creation plainly evident. We are without excuse – He has made His existence known through creation, our conscience and Christ. 

The Gospel is the good news that Christ has died for our sins! Focusing on Romans 1:16-17, Tyler encourages the body not to be ashamed at this wonderful news that we are asked to share with a world in desperate need for it.

Romans is about the Gospel and the Gospel is about Jesus!  Paul’s heart for the world in the book of Romans is to present this Gospel and to encourage believers in their faith and to go deeper in their walk with God.  Encouragement is something God has designed for us to need and to GIVE!  Encourage people around you!  Be the healing agent of the Lord!

Today we start a series on the book of Romans.  The Gospel produces changed lives… never to be  the same again!  And when we are changed we are called… Therefore, go!

Going to small groups – House to House – is a pattern in the New Testament that Westside places high value on. Our small groups are starting up again next month! Our small groups drive discipleship, evangelism and pastoral care in the church. Exponential growth, encouragement and changed lives happen! What does the Bible say about giving to the poor?  Jesus said “you will always have the poor among you,” but what was the context and what is His desire for us as a people toward the poor?
