In this sermon we will unpack an ancient prophecy about Jesus and specifically the four titles given to Him: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. What do each of these mean? Why do we resist them? And what would it look like to know Jesus in these ways?

In part 2 of our Christmas Series, Light Has Come, we discover what John wants us to know most of all about the coming of Jesus. We call it John's Trifecta in this message, three aspects of Jesus' coming that are paramount to understand.

In this message we begin a series focused on the light of Christmas. In Jesus, the light of the world has come, but as His followers we have been called to be ministers of light. This message digs into what that means for us.

In this sermon we will walk with Jesus as He descends from the mountain of transfiguration and toward the cross. The question in front of us is, 'Why did Jesus have to leave the mountain in the first place?' As we look at the reasons Jesus had to enter "the valley" we'll be shown the nature and purpose of the freedom we have or can have in Him.

The transfiguration of Jesus was a mountaintop experience like no other. In it, Jesus visibly demonstrated that past, present, and future are ultimately and only secure in Him. Never again will the lows of this life be able to destroy us or the highs of this life limit us.

In light of last Sunday's mass-shooting in a Texas Church, we take a break from our series in Matthew and address the topic of "The Existence of God and the Presence of Evil."

In this sermon, we seek to help one understand why the way of Jesus - the way of the cross - must be the Christian's way too. We do this by focusing on the three reasons Jesus gives and affirming the great need for our love of Jesus and commitment to bringing Him glory undergirding everything.

Matthew 16 marks a dramatic change in the earthly ministry of Jesus where He ends His work in Galilee and sets His face towards Jerusalem. Tied to this transition is the most important of questions: who do you say that I am? In this message, we look specifically at Peter and seek to discover by way of his response to Jesus what in his life should be true in ours and those things we should be wary of as well.

In this sermon we will consider the opposition to Jesus that exists within those of us who consider ourselves Christ-followers. We will see some of the ways we can twist the shut off valve to God's power in our lives by opposing the life and salvation that Jesus came to give.
