Text: Revelation 21:1-8

As we come to chapter 21 John's vision transitions to a picture of the eternal home God has prepared for His children. There are five specific aspects of Heaven that we will look at in this sermon that are meant to strengthen us to faithfully follow Jesus until He returns.

In this message we investigate the thousand year period known as the millennium. We consider whether it's a time in the future or something now. We end by looking at some major reminders for all.

Where chapter 17 focuses on the deception of Babylon, chapter 18 focuses on its destruction. Why it's destroyed and how followers of Jesus are to live in light of its certainty is the focus of this message.

In Revelation 17, John records a vision that personifies the forces of evil at work in our world. How do we see them at work around us today? And what tools have we been given to stand against them?

Revelation, chapters 6-19, include some of the most sobering chapters in the Bible. What are we to see and how are we to respond to the plans and purposes of God's judgment as depicted in them? This message considers those questions and more.

In this edition of the Roundtable, Norm sits down with Sam Allberry, author of "Is God anti-gay?" and discusses the many issues surrounding homosexuality, same sex attraction and how best to respond to those in and outside of the church with grace and truth.

Before looking at the 7 bowls being poured out in chapter 16 we slow down in the first four verses of chapter 15 and look deeper at the follower of Jesus as conqueror and singer.

Few, if any, topics in the Bible are most hesitantly approached as the topic of hell. And yet, if we ignore the sobering horror of hell we will never fully appreciate the gracious goodness of Jesus and His sacrifice for us. In this message we look at hell, it's reality and our only hope of being saved from it.

In Revelation 13 we encounter two beasts, two beasts empowered by the dragon (Satan). In this message we look at how and to what end are these beasts empowered by Satan and how Christians stand against them. We also consider why some churches undergo such great persecution while others languish in spiritual apathy in the midst of great prosperity.
