In Revelation 9 trumpets five and six are blown. The judgments released are more intense than anything seen to this point. How are we to understand God's hand in all of this? What does it mean to have the seal of God on our foreheads? And what role does Satan play here as the vision unfolds?

As we turn our attention to Revelation 8 we will be faced with more images of God's judgment. How are we to understand who God is in light of these things? What do these divine judgements tell us about the one who sits on the throne?

Chapter 6 ends with the most appropriate of questions: who can stand? Who is able to stand, in their own strength, before God on the throne and the wrath of the Lamb? In this message that takes us through chapter 7 we discover the answer.

In this message we consider first off the doctrine of the rapture before seeing Jesus remove the first four seals of the scroll of God.

In this message we transition from looking at the throne of God in chapter 4 to the Lamb of God in chapter 5. More specifically, we recognize four aspects of the Lamb - the Lamb's worthiness, weakness, way and worship of Him thereafter.

As we come to Revelation 4 the vision John sees changes. He looks and sees a throne in heaven, occupied and surrounded by worshippers. But what does all this mean? How is the existence of a throne in heaven meant to change our lives today? And what is revealed about the one who sits on the throne?
