Westworld

This week's Westworld fan mail is bursting with strong theories: Dolores' role as a custom narrative for William, Teddy being based on William, Arnold being the man depicted ushering Dolores toward consciousness, Hector improvising poetry in his blacklisted conversation, and more.

Other theories are a little more out there: Logan is Charlotte, Ford is using ghost hosts and Westworld is in space.

But no theory brings together the calculated and the crazy quite like Big D's Unified Field Theory of Westworld. Like a novice Wheel of Fortune player, Dick thinks he's got it all figured out with three episodes (and another season) to go. Listen to his rant and let us know if you think Big D is on to something. Or a complete tinfoil asshat.

Leading up to Episode 6, there were some who were afraid the train to Westworld was in danger of derailing off into an endless loop of plot questions. Fortunately, the conductors seem to have adjusted the tracks and "The Adversary" was one of the strongest episodes thus far.

With their partner Gene unable to join due to a delayed flight home, Rog & Big D effuse their praise and discuss which fan theories have been debunked...on this week's Shat On TV: Westworld Instacast.

However, the trio power through the endless 'maze' of theories, feedback, and analysis to deliver a one-time only, MEGA-SIZED episode of the Westworld Telegraph.

Forget the tin foil hats, you'll need to wrap yourself up as a tin foil burrito in order to get through this entire episode.

Contrapasso is proportionate punishment for sins, and Westworld Episode 5 hinted at all the ways our favorite characters are about to pay for their transgressions. From Maeve's growing abilities to Dr. Ford's growing hubris to El Lazo's growing rebellion in Pariah, Westworld is heating up to an explosive boil.

Up for debate and discussion in this week's podcast: Are Dolores' hallucinations just new narratives being uploaded into her mind? Who is behind the Woodcutter's satellite uplink? Is Arnold a real person who created Dr. Ford, or the other way around? And is the maze just a call to arms for hosts ready to fight back?

Like a corpse full of nitroglycerin, Westworld is about to blow up. Let's share a toast and watch the fireworks.

Was Westworld Episode 5 a disaster or an electrifying thriller? Depends on who you ask. Big reveals about Arnold, the Man In Black and the nature of Pariah kept us on our toes, but predictable character development and clunky science left fans shaking their heads in disappointment.

Gene hated it. Roger loved it, and Dick was somewhere in the middle. Have a listen and let us know what you think before the full-length Westworld podcast is released Tuesday. #DongWatch2016.

It's that time of the week where the "Hosts": Rog, Gene, & Big D wrap themselves in their Nasa-supplied tin foil emergency heat blankets, fire up the antique Westworld Telegraph and answer listener theories about Westworld.

Our inbox was filled to the brim with speculation concerning the true meaning of the maze, positive proof of multiple timelines, comparisons to dystopian literature, God complexes, and.....Zombies???

The trio also learns about the Native American story of the I'itoi, receives praise for the new weekly format, and discover Gene has a new admirer.
