Story Transcript:

Ro: Într-o dimineață însorită de primăvară, Alexandru se plimba prin parcul Herăstrău din București, bucurându-se de cântecele păsărilor și de adierea ușoară a vântului.
En: One sunny spring morning, Alexandru was walking in Herăstrău Park in Bucharest, enjoying the birds' songs and the gentle breeze.

Ro: Alexandru, un tânăr cu ochi căprui și păr șaten, avea un zâmbet larg pe față, gândindu-se la planurile de peste zi.
En: Alexandru, a young man with brown eyes and chestnut hair, had a wide smile on his face, thinking about the day's plans.

Ro: Chiar dacă plouase cu o noapte înainte, soarele izbutise să usuce majoritatea potecilor și băncilor, însă nu toate.
En: Despite the rain the previous night, the sun had managed to dry most of the paths and benches, but not all of them.

Ro: Pe o bancă în parc, mai ascunsă și uitată de razele soarelui, se așeză Alexandru neștiind că lemnul încă era ud și rece.
En: Unknowingly, Alexandru sat on a bench hidden from the sun's rays, and he felt a cold and unpleasant sensation on the back of his trousers as he stood up.

Ro: În momentul în care se ridică, simți o senzație rece și neplăcută pe spatele pantalonilor. Privind în jos, își dădu seama că pantalonii negri acum aveau două pete mari și închise la culoare.

Ro: Pentru o clipă, Alexandru rămase consternat, dar apoi începu să râdă de situația sa neașteptată.

Ro: În timp ce își scutura pantalonii, sperând să-i usuce cât de cât, o voce plăcută îi distrase atenția.

Ro: - Oh, pare că băncile din Herăstrău au încă surprize pentru noi, spuse o tânără cu părul lung și blond.

Ro: Elena, o fată cu ochi albaștri și zâmbet contagios, stătea în picioare lângă Alexandru cu un ziar în mâna.

Ro: - Cred că voi avea nevoie de o umbrelă mai mare, pentru că băncile plouă aici, răspunse Alexandru, jucându-se pe tonul situației.
En: "I think I'll need a bigger umbrella because the benches seem to be raining here," replied Alexandru, playing along with the situation.

Ro: - Știu un loc unde le pot usca. Urmează-mă, zise Elena.
En: "I know a place where we can dry them. Follow me," said Elena.

Ro: Se îndreptară amândoi spre un mic café cu ferestre largi și luminoase. În timp ce Alexandru își usca pantalonii folosind uscătorul de mâini din baie, Elena comandă două cafele aromate.
En: They both headed to a small café with large bright windows. While Alexandru dried his pants using the hand dryer in the bathroom, Elena ordered two aromatic coffees.

Ro: - Se pare că nu doar băncile din Herăstrău sunt surprinzătoare, ci și întâlnirile neașteptate, spuse Alexandru, întorcându-se la masă.
En: "It seems that not only the benches in Herăstrău are surprising, but also unexpected encounters," said Alexandru, returning to the table.

Ro: - Uneori, este nevoie doar de o băncă udă pentru a crea un nou început, răspunse Elena, ridicându-și cafeaua în semn de toast.
En: "Sometimes, all it takes is a wet bench to create a new beginning," replied Elena, raising her coffee in a toast.
