The Yankees need a spark with their season on the line, and Evan Roberts, Tiki Barber and Shaun Morash agree Aaron Boone cannot simply run back the same lineup for Game 3 against the Rays. They debate sitting Jazz Chisholm, Ryan McMahon and Trent Grisham, while giving Anthony Volpe, Jose Caballero and Heliot Ramos a chance to change the series.
Then Evan takes the desperation to another level. With Aaron Judge off the roster, he argues the Yankees should find a way to create an opening and get their superstar back for a must-win game. Tiki wonders whether Judge’s injury is more serious than the Yankees have let on as their season reaches the brink.
Phil Simms joins us in his usual Wednesday spot and we started with the terrible performance by the Jets in Chicago. We also talked about The Giants playing the Commanders and they’re throwing Jayden Daniels out there.
Craig and Big Mac blast the New York Yankees for a "beyond embarrassing" defensive performance after committing multiple errors in their playoff loss to the Rays. They analyze individual lapses from Jazz Chisholm Jr. and discuss if Aaron Boone can survive another early postseason exit.

The Yankees completely unraveled defensively against the Rays, committing four official errors with several other ugly miscues in one of their worst postseason defensive performances. Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber can’t explain how normally reliable defenders like Ryan McMahon and Luis Garcia suddenly failed to make routine plays, while Jazz Chisholm’s costly decision only added to the chaos.
The meltdown brings back painful memories of the Yankees’ 2024 World Series defensive collapse and raises another uncomfortable question about Aaron Boone. With the Yankees now facing a 2-0 series deficit and needing three straight wins, Evan says the series isn’t technically over, but after a performance like this, it certainly feels that way.
Regarding the Yankees loss, Jerry said, ‘blame the players, because these players suck’. The Boone haters are going to blame Boone.
Craig and Big Mac dissect the New York Jets' devastating loss to the Chicago Bears, labeling it a non-competitive embarrassment. They contrast the performance with the New York Giants' fortunate 3-1 start and debate the significance of coaching across both franchises.

Aaron Glenn is running out of answers, and Joe Benigno believes the Jets coach could be fighting for his job. After another brutal performance filled with penalties, defensive breakdowns and an ineffective offense, Joe unloads on the state of the franchise and warns that a loss to Cleveland could push an already furious fan base over the edge.
The conversation turns to what comes next if Glenn cannot stop the collapse. Joe makes the case for bringing Rex Ryan back, while Mike Tomlin, Jon Gruden and other experienced coaches emerge as potential answers. The biggest concern goes beyond the record: the Jets appear to be getting worse, and Garrett Wilson's frustration only adds to the fear that Glenn is losing control.
The Jets look completely hopeless after an embarrassing performance in Chicago. Evan Roberts declares Aaron Glenn a “dead man walking” after watching the Jets get pushed around, miss tackles, commit costly penalties and barely possess the football. Tiki Barber’s film review only confirms how badly Chicago dominated Glenn’s defense.
The offense was just as alarming. Garrett Wilson disappeared, Frank Reich’s game plan produced almost nothing, and the Jets ran only 29 offensive plays excluding sacks. Evan and Tiki also hammer Glenn for answering “I don’t know” when asked why Wilson wasn’t more involved, as another ugly loss raises serious questions about whether this season is already spiraling beyond repair.
They are 3-1 and in first place in the NFC East. Boomer knew that John Harbaugh was going to fix the special teams and he did.
