3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. 4 You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy. 5 He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels. (Rev 3:3-5)

Paul says, "FOR TO ME," to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Are you able to say that? Paul can't say that for you, but only for himself. Certainly his prayer is for you to share his passion and love for the Savior! Also today, we look at verse 23 which says, "For I am hard pressed by the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better." He doesn't say he's hard pressed between the 3, including soul sleep--but the 2! For the great promise is made to the believer--to live is Christ, and to die is gain, and immediate gain! Join us today for the Gospelstudy podcast as we look at this verse.

Today on the Gospelstudy podcast, we consider what it means to "magnify" something. Paul said that Christ would be "magnified in his body."

3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. (Ps 34:3)

Have you ever seen people--preachers perhaps, preaching Christ with the wrong motives? What's a believer to do? Find out more today on the Gospelstudy podcast!

"Some indeed preach Christ even from envy and strife, and some also from goodwill:16 The former preach Christ from selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my chains; 17 but the latter out of love, knowing that I am appointed for the defense of the gospel."
