James Schatzman,  founder-conductor/artistic director of the Choral Arts Society of Southeastern Wisconsin,  talks about the group's 35-year history and the celebratory gala concert coming up this Saturday evening at Racine's First Presbyterian Church.  

For Women's History Month, we are sharing a Morning Show that aired back in 2018, a few days after the death of singer Aretha Franklin.  We begin with Meredith Ochs, author of "Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul:  A Life in Photographs."  After that, Dr. James Kinchen (Director of Choral Activities at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside) pays tribute to Ms. Franklin and her extraordinary career.  

Russ Johnson, director of the jazz studies program at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside,  talks about the school's Jazz Week,  which features an array of superb guest artists performing concerts each night this week.  

We talk about the Racine Theatre Guild's production of "Clue: Onstage" with Doug Instenes, RTG's managing and artistic director, who is directing this production .... and Dan Martino, who plays the butler Wadsworth in the production.  The show opens this Friday and runs through the first weekend in April. 

From 2003 -  Stephen Coonts talks about his book "Victory" which is comprised of short novels about World War Two by ten award-winning authors (including one by Coonts himself.) 

From 2005-  Brian Fugere, author of "Why Business People Speak Like Idiots: A Bullfighter's Guide."   The subtitle refers to the importance of eliminating "bull" from the way business people communicate amongst themselves and to the public.  

Part One:  We preview Saturday night's concert by the Kenosha Symphony with Maestro Bob Hasty and concert pianist Winston Choi, who will be soloing with the orchestra in Gershwin's Concerto in F.   Part Two:  Rachel Swartz, from the theater faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, talks about their production of the award-winning play "Indecent" that opens this weekend.

We speak with Seth Weidmann, Carthage's Assistant Athletic Director and Head Men's Swimming and Diving Coach .... and with senior Adam Moskus, one of Carthage's finest swimmers .... shortly after Carthage won its fifth consecutive CCIW (Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) Championship. 

Susan Quinn talks about her book "Eleanor and Hick: The Love Affair that Shaped a First Lady."  The book examines the extraordinary relationship between Eleanor Roosevelt and journalist Lorena Hickok, a relationship the lasted more than thirty years.
