From the archives- Stanley Nelson talks about his documentary film "Freedom Summer,"  which aired during the 26th season of the PBS series American Experience.  The film explores the dramatic breakthroughs in civil rights that were made in the summer of 1964.  The film can be viewed at pbs.org.   

From the late 1990's comes this interview with Racine native Bob Kettelson,  who was a renowned opera coach who worked at several of the world's most important opera houses, including the Paris Opera as well as La Scala in Milan, Italy.  Kettelson passed away in 2008 at the age of 70.  

From 2017-  Dr. Wayne Thompson, Associate Professor of Sociology and Social Work at Carthage College, discusses Racism -  what is it, what causes it, how is it playing out in America in the 21st century, and what do we do about it?  

Public radio's Diane Rehm discusses her newest book,  "When My Time Comes: Conversations about whether those who are dying should have the right to determine when life should end."   The book is a thorough exploration into the practice of Medical Aid in Dying, which is currently allowed in eight states plus the District of Columbia.   

A followup conversation with Richard Stein and Raymond Clarke from Gateway Technical College's Law Enforcement Training program.  Stein is director of the program.  Clark is an instructor in the Law Enforcement Academy and Chief of Police for the town of Delavan.
