  • From Filler to Fulfillment: The Real Secret to Aging Gracefully

In this episode of What a Fuster Cluck, I am diving deep into one of today’s biggest conversations, and what I like to call Aging Gracefully in a world obsessed with perfection. From fillers and filters to the booming cosmetic surgery industry, women everywhere are facing an epidemic of body dysmorphia and unrealistic beauty standards.

But what if we’ve been focusing on the wrong kind of “maintenance”? What if aging gracefully has less to do with injectables and more to do with nourishment — what we put in our bodies, not just on them?

Join me as we talk about self-love, moderation, and the beauty of embracing your natural face and body. Let’s challenge the noise, unlearn the filters, and rediscover what it really means to look — and feel — our best at every age.

Because at the end of the day, confidence isn’t created at a clinic. It’s built from within. 💖

  • Addiction - Through the Eyes of the Broken Hearts and the Hopeful

Welcome back to another episode of What a Fuster Cluck! In this episode I am joined by the amazing Mrs. Casey, mother of 5 sons, coach, podcast host, & published author just to name a few of her many accolades. Casey joins me to talk about Addiction from the perspective of the broken hearts & the hopeful, meaning those of us who have lived with, or know someone struggling with addiction, & have had our lives completely changed by it in powerful ways.

Addiction comes in many forms, & can impact anyone. Almost no one is safe from falling pray, but there are ways to try to both prevent, or break free from the choke hold of addiction.

If you, or someone you know is struggling with addiction, or you are like Casey and I, please know that there are resources

out there for you, and one of the most important things you can do is discover healthier ways to deal with the trauma that lies below the surface of it all. AA and Al-Anon simply won't work for everyone. We are all different and we need to embrace new ways of looking at addiction and addiction treatment.

Below is a list of books, movies, documentaries, & treatments that many find helpful. I apologize I am not including links to these as there are so many, but please feel free to copy & paste into your favorite browser to learn more.

Go with Casey on her unimaginable journey after the passing of her second son, Ryker, in her book, Holding Ryker-a searing memoir that gives voice to the raw, often hidden reality of child loss. Casey lays bare the unimaginable heartbreak of losing her son-and the relentless journey of surviving what is almost un-survivable. Available on Amazon: https://a.co/d/3W5YTs6

  • Working Mom Woes - Passion, Purpose, Career

In this episode I open up on the constant guilt I feel being a mom with a full-time job. I also get into my thoughts on how crucial it is to remember the following, "Your number one job as a parent, is helping your kids become who they are, and not who you want them to be".

As a gal who grew up with blue-collar working class parents whose dream for their children was to "go to college so you don't end up like us" (sad, because they both had tremendous work ethics, and looking back, I am proud of the hard work they did, but they wanted more for their kids, and who can blame them, that's what we all want), that's just what I did. I went to college and got both a 4 year degree, and a Master's, but I never got the message to "follow your dreams, find your passion, find your purpose", and so I just went on to get the pieces of paper in the fields and industries I thought would make me the fairest living. Once I became a mom, my entire perspective shifted with regards to having a longing to be a stay at home mom, or to be the type of mom who's working her dream job.

It ain't easy being a momma in this fast paced society of more, more, more, but we're all doing the best we can with what we have, so here's to trying to help guide our children to the life they were meant to have and to put their energy into their true passions so they can find their purpose, and turn that into their careers!

    Let's go!
