I read on Facebook something the daughter of one of my cousins wrote when she heard of her father’s death. I listened to my daughter talk about all the help pulling out of Kerrville, Texas. My friends shared their thoughts about their mother’s struggles in recovery, and I kept feeling the impact we all have on the lives of one another and asking myself, what are the people in my life left with? We just never know when it will be the last time we see someone, or hug someone, or let someone know they matter.
