February 20, 2024 Sidetracked: "Moonpiece" with Aul Eire's Steven Crane plus special guests
This episode was recorded before a special Mouth Piece open mic night dedicated to our friend, and talented musician, Paul Mooney.
Many thanks to my guests for this episode, Steven Crane of Aul Eire and organiser of Mouth Piece open mic nights, as well as Kyle O'Neil who's band Boy M5 Paul was also a member of, and another local musician John Nelson, who both joined us later in the podcast.

There was a lot of talk about life and music on the west coast of Ireland so I wanted to give a shout out to Not Bad, a website supporting music from along the west coast, they also have the podcast Going Coastal, an episode of which I produced, and the ongoing radio show Dreamland which travels from Donegal to Cork, interviewing and showcasing the musicians who live there.

Maria McCormack has launched a new online radio station with the aim to give Irish musicians the air time and support they deserve so please download the app, show some support on social media, and go listen to Over The West Online Radio. Maria will also be releasing some content from the open mic night there soon so make sure you're following so you don't miss out!
