Today we looked at the fulfillment of that prophecy as recorded in Luke. It is fulfilled. It is true. Jesus Christ the Lord is born. And not only did the shepherds hear and see, so you have also!

Jesus takes sin seriously. He takes it seriously when you cause others to stumble. And He takes it seriously when you stumble. He goes so far to say that it is better to cut off body parts that cause you to stumble. Because sin is serious and hell is a serious place where you will go if you continue to stumble. Do not stumble into hell where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched. Cut off your foot and limp into the arms of Jesus.
