Nottingham Forest #nffc have just 8 days left in the summer transfer window to lockdown a squad that boss Steve Cooper and owner Marinakis are confident can compete in the #premierleague.

Within the next 8 days there is a lot to do, Forest still have players that need shipping out to get their wages off the books. But also new players need to come in, Cooper has been looking for defensive midfielder all summer, with many of his targets either rejecting Forest or going elsewhere. But as it has been highlighted as a key position to fill, this needs to resolved asap.

Another transfer that has dragged on all summer is that of Welsh winger Brennan Johnson, he has been linked with numerous Premier League clubs, including #spurs and #chelsea but with 8 days left it looks like it might come down to whether one of these interested parties come in with the magic number that Marinakis would accept. And if Johnson transfer money is needed to fund more signings, then this should be a priority for Nottingham Forest.
