Scott and Arnie welcome first time guest Rabbi Chezky Vogel from the Chabad of Missoula. Rabbi Chezky was born and raised in Rochester, NY where his parents serve as directors of Chabad of Monroe County since 1981. he received his early education in the local Jewish day school and went on to study in Detroit, Michigan and Israel, and achieved rabbinic ordination in 2014. his experience in children and adult education and community work includes programs in Israel, Brazil, Ukraine and all across the USA.

Arnie and Scott welcome first time guest – author Rick Bleiweiss from Ashland, OR. His debut mystery novel, Pignon Scorbion & the Barbershop Detectives was just released in February, 2022 and is published by Blackstone Publishing. Scott and Rick go back almost 30 years, where Scott worked for Rick in the music industry in the early 90s for BMG in New York. Rick’s music industry career dates back to the 60s when he was an intern for a music label while a student at the University of Miami. Rick started his career in music as a rock performer, producer of over fifty records, songwriter and record company senior executive, and worked with Clive Davis, Melissa Etheridge, the Backstreet Boys, Kiss, U2, Whitney Houston, the BeeGees, and other industry legends. Since 2006 as a publishing company executive, he has acquired works by bestselling and award-winning authors including James Clavell, Gabriel García Márquez, Rex Pickett, Leon Uris, and Nicholas Sansbury Smith, among others. In his latest creative endeavor, Rick has crafted the Pignon Scorbion historical mystery series -- blending his love of the past with the twisty deliciousness of a whodunit. Arnie and Scott welcome new Airport Director Brian Ellestad and Deputy Director Tim Damrow from the Missoula Montana Airport to the show for the first time. The guys spend the full hour talking about our new terminal which is set to open in May of this year and all of its great amenities. We also talk all things aviation, travel and what’s in-store for airlines, new routes and so much more.

Arnie and Scott welcome new Missoula City Councilman Dan Carlino. Carlino represents Ward 3, which encompasses both the University of Montana, and the slant street neighborhood of town. The guys cover a wide range of topics including Carlino’s background growing up in Atlanta, his conservation and environmental work, the Bear Aware initiative, the impact of Mayor Engen and his recent cancer diagnosis, and so much more.

They discussed the tremendous State tax and revenue growth as recreational cannabis rolls out in select counties across Montana. Marty has a storied career working in the entertainment business to license music for advertising, games, film and television programs and products. A graduate of New York Law with his JD degree – Marty soon ditched a great job with the City of New York to work with the infamous Morris Levy and Roulette Records. His love of music won out, and this started a seven decade career in music working with artists like Hall and Oates, Christina Aguilera, Lou Reed, Elvis Presley, Henry Mancini, Johnny Mathis and so many more. He shared some great stories with the guys and talks about a new book he is working on about Success!

Arnie and Scott welcome the new Executive Director of the Missoula Marathon and Run Wild Missoula – Trisha Drobeck – to the show. This Olympic trained marathon runner, has a lot of information to share with us including the return of the Missoula Marathon in June, 2022, as well as her interesting background growing up in Oregon, what led her to running, and how she stays motivated to run in some of the most competitive races in the US and abroad.

Arnie and Scott welcome local musician, songwriter, actor, entrepreneur and owner of Pink Grizzly – Shane Clouse. The fellas talk about the holiday season and how Pink Grizzly is meeting the increased demand as Missoula’s population grows, along with how the supply chain has impacted the business during Covid. While Covid certainly impacted performing and live music, Shane talks about his work in promoting and recording music using new technology, along with a new film he is acting in and wrote music for – Eye for Eye – a western starring acclaimed actor John Savage.
