The 2020 Summer Olympics are finally taking place and we discuss our favorite events such as rhythmic gymnastics (the one with the hoops and balls) and the steeplechase (the one where they run through a water pit). We also introduce a new segment called “Name That Brand!” where Tara and Ciara go head to head to name brands just from hearing the tagline. We also discuss weird bugs we’ve seen and foods that made us sick and we will never eat again.

We’re back with another rendition of “We Eat, You Listen,” but this time, we’re drinking pop! And we’re from Michigan, so we call it pop. We try out one of the newest Faygo flavors live on the air and give our real-time opinions. Tara also recounts her recent trip to LA and one of us shares her latest mishap (she has a propensity to accidentally injure herself...also known as being clumsy).

We also discuss government agencies that you didn’t know exist, but most assuredly do, including the Department of Unclaimed Funds.

We also discuss hairstyles and learn names for the different styles, all of the current hubbub around wearing bonnets in public, and that time we thought that Tara got taken at the airport (spoiler: she didn’t get taken).

We also discuss Carvana, the new way for buying used cars, we stand in our truths and declare to the world what we are #notashamedof, and the Mattel product buy back program, which sounds kinda like a scam.

Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Polkadot??? These are all cryptocurrencies and our resident financial expert, Tara, breaks down what cryptocurrency is and how it works (S/N Tara wanted me to make it clear that an expert, she is NOT). We also talk about our best day (or lives) ever, the “realistic” mechanical dogs that are sold online, and many of the national days found at nationaltoday.com.

We explain what a sister cousin is and there is no inbreeding involved. Just sisters and cousins: sister cousins! We also discuss the infamous McDonald’s ice cream machines (always broke), our favorite Luther Vandross songs, and the future of Wheel of Fortune (time for Pat to retire?).

Spring is in the air...sort of. And if you live in certain states, it is time for the 17-year cicadas to emerge once again. We are not looking forward to it. We also talk about our experiences with meal delivery kits and grocery delivery services (very much used during these Covidian times), as well as if we would be able to survive the apocalypse. 

April Fools’ Day pranks are back! Most companies took a break last year during these Covidian times, but the shenanigans are back and we discuss the best and the worst. We also discuss our love of Levar Burton (who should be the next host of Jeopardy!) and Nick Cannon’s debut gospel music video.

We are living in the age of reboots; some are surprisingly good, while others leave much to be desired. In this episode, the sister cousins discuss the reboots that they love and the ones that nobody asked for. We also discuss the latest Bruno Mars single and the discontinued snacks and toys that they wish someone would bring back.
