Digital sovereignty is quickly becoming a major issue in Canada – basically, who controls our data, our systems, and our digital lives. A new federal paper warns that even when our information feels “local,” it can still be subject to foreign laws and global tech dependencies. Tech analyst Carmi Levy spoke to Trudie Mason.
