With this episode, we begin a series through the gospels. I’m not sure how long it will take, but I’m looking forward to it. Let's start with this question: What does "gospel" mean? Well, in the Greek language, gospel means "good news." The Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John only tell us about fifty-two days of Jesus' life and ministry. Though brief, these accounts are enough to convince us that Jesus is the Messiah. He is the Son of God. As John 20:30-31 says, "These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ... and that by believing you may have life in his name." Jesus as Messiah is the good news we need. Join me next time as we discover more good news about Jesus Christ.
