Critical theory challenges cultural norms as being part of an oppressive power structure. It is irreconcilably anti-Christian and all Christians must oppose it in every form. It has taken over our university and K-12 education system.

True Marxists are zealous to change the world. Critical theory has been used in the long march through the institutions to enact this change by rejecting bourgeois (i.e., traditional) culture.

Marxist ideology may sound good to man, but it is opposed to God, fails, and brings out the worst in men. Men become communists because they are attracted by the old lie, you will be like God.

History proved Marx’s theory about the poor getting continually poorer under capitalism was wrong. As a result, full-blown socialism can only be achieved by violent revolution as was seen in the USSR. Lenin was a ruthless criminal willing to kill anyone who stood in the way of socialism and its goal of establishing heaven on earth.

The most important function of government is to protect the rights of its citizens. Individual groups have tried voluntary socialism a number of time and it has proven to be a failure.

Marx thought that he had discovered “the law of development of human history”, but because of his materialist worldview he was wrong and over 150 years of history have proven him wrong. Capitalism has arguably increased the wealth of more people far more than any other development in human history. The Bible unequivocally asserts the right to private property.

Many modern movements, including the Black Lives Matter organization, are based on Marxist ideology, which is clearly anti-Christian.

Christians must participate in democracy using self-consciously biblical thinking in order to influence the culture for the good.

Christians are to function as salt and light, influencing culture for the good. To do that requires that we have a biblical worldview.
