Harriet Richardson is a former graphic designer turned performance artist. From design agencies Pentagram and Turner Duckworth, to performances such as 100 dates in a single day, and tattooing her ex-lovers’ mums’ names on her body – Harriet swapped agency life for something that resinated more with her person.
In this episode, we catch Harriet mid-reinvention.
Harriet opens up about what it meant to walk away from design, how comedy crept into her work, and why she’s making art that literally leaves a mark. We talk tattoos, 100 dates, letters to strangers, stand-up gigs, and the blurry line between Harriet the person and Harriet the performance. This one’s full of intent, meaning, and honesty. Harriet is building a body of work that’s fearless, edgy, and completely her own.
This one is packed with lots of northern warmth and humour + we have a surprise appearance from Harriet’s mum.
Lock in and enjoy 💘
