ABOUT THE SHOW
On What Happens In Between this week we talk with Intentional Change Agent Rya Hodges. She breaks down why we have more time than we think we do and how much time is wasted in microbursts. She also talks about how important management (not just time) is to overall health and happiness. For more information about Rya visit https://www.ryahodges.com or Instagram at @ryajhodges.
Question of the Week: How do you want to feel?
THE GUEST
It all happened intentionally. Rya Hodges was fired from my “good” corporate job on the day she was going to quit. She was ready to leave the comfort of her International Trade Analyst position and never look back. She had been building her brand around intentionally living for years prior and her mission became too heart-centered to ignore. Rya then became a certified time management coach to help other women become more intentional in their own lives.
TOPICS COVERED
redefining The American dream so that it's aligned with our intentions. Developing a strong internal voice so you can keep it simple a and move in your Why. When your intention is clear it's easier to keep eyes on your paper.
Make your own definition- you have a choice of what success looks like. Being true to yourself and thinking greater about your legacy. Having a mission statement viewer than yourself

I’m not gonna lie, February has been a rough ½ month for me so far. The month (or the moon?) has really thrown off my ability to work effectively. I’ve been slowly recovering over the course of this week, but this unexpected pause prompted me to think about where I’m putting my energy.
With that in mind, I wanted to share the 3 most important questions I ask myself before starting a project or habit or anything new and time consuming.
For this week’s episode I present the 3 questions and some context for each of them in less than 10 minutes. I hope you’ll give it a listen :]
Get a handy worksheet with the questions that you can use every time you start a new project!!

As a writer, Talise had a vision when she got to college: She would finish her novel by graduation using the tools and insight given to her by incredible professors to create an amazing story. Instead, she found herself burnt out for 4 years and unable to write a single paragraph.
When she graduated, she took a huge risk by taking a year off to focus on her wellness and reconnect with her creativity. At the beginning of 2020, she had no idea that by the end of the year she’d be a full time creativity coach helping her clients move through the mental blocks that stop them from making their art.
