Disappointment, disaster, and despair. Often we feel like giving up in dire circumstances, yet Dean Paul urges us to go, to work as Ruth does in the gleaning fields, for we will happen upon God along the way. We see now only an inkling of how God guides our paths toward true provision, which is more than mere food and shelter. He pledges all of himself as our protector and redeemer.
