Ironically, part of Jesus' attractiveness - the fact that God came down and fleshed Himself up and dwelt with humanity - is also the most troublesome for some. For many who encountered Jesus during His earthly minstry they couldn't get past the idea that Jesus looked very much like one of them - a carpenter, Mary's son, a citizen of the podunk town of Nazareth - and that physical knowledge kept many from experiencing a spiritual knowledge of Him. But what if God was one of us and His name was Jesus?
