What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the phrase “government corruption”? My answer may, or may not, surprise you.No, we’re not going to talk about the FTX scam and how the Democrats laundered billions of dollars through Ukraine and a climate change non-profit and back to their party.

No, we’re not going to talk about how the Biden administration is intentionally causing a humanitarian crisis at our southern border. Or, how the government stuck a Texas hospital with the $20 million bill for “free” health care to illegal aliens.

We’re not even going to mention how the FBI colluded with big tech to squash damaging evidence about a high-ranking candidate’s son right before a presidential election. Or, how the Twitter Files expose government agency corruption on a massive scale.

These days, the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear about corruption is the Republican Party.

The history between the two countries is long and complicated. It’s no secret that the Muslim nation of Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the map.

But it wasn’t always this way.

Shortly after Israel gained its independence in 1948, an Israeli embassy was established in Tehran, the capital of Iran. Trade relations ensued between the countries. Iran sold oil to Israel, and Israel sold weapons to Iran. Read more here.

Then, in 1979, a new leader came to power during the Iranian Revolution. Relations between Iran and both Israel and the United States ruptured abruptly when Ayatollah Khamenei labeled the U.S. the “Great Satan” and Israel the “Little Satan.”

According to the United States Institute of Peace: “Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei described Israel in 2000 as a ‘cancerous tumor’ that ‘must be uprooted from the region.’”

Since that time, Iran has worked with Hezbollah—a terror organization, criminal cartel, and political party all rolled into one—to build up Iran’s military arsenal in preparation for a war against Israel.

As a believer in Jesus Christ, I recognize that I have an obligation to speak the truth, no matter how unpopular.

·        NO. Voicing an opposing opinion to transgenderism is not violence.

·        NO. Men cannot get pregnant and have babies.

·        NO. Aborting a viable human life is not health care.

·        NO. Transwomen are not women; they are men who have been chemically or physically castrated.

·        And, NO, the sexual mutilation of children is not affirming his or her gender.

No, no, no, no, and no—final answer. The year is now 2022 and the emperor still isn’t wearing any clothes.

The rationalization “I don’t know what to believe anymore” is not a valid reason to acquiesce to everything thrown at us. Don’t be deceived. God desperately wants to reveal His reality to you and me, but we have to search for the truth and call out the lies.

What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter. (Isaiah 5:20)

Many within our culture have adopted a laissez-faire attitude towards moral issues. Since, theoretically, there are no right or wrong choices, we should just allow everyone to do their own thing. Again, this sounds legitimate but leads to many unfortunate consequences.

Is it possible that those who say that God does not involve Himself in politics have never read the Bible? We talk about, sing about, and preach about what He does for me: how He will help me, protect me, provide for me, etc. Me, me, me. Without a doubt, God cares for us deeply as individuals.

But we shouldn’t lose sight of the bigger picture, either.

When we take a step back, we understand that the Creator of the Universe devised an elaborate plan before the beginning of time about how He will crush the principalities, authorities, and powers of this dark world under the feet of Jesus. See Genesis 3:15 and Ephesians 6:12.

For decades we’ve been hearing about “the wall of separation” that should divide the church and state. Individuals and entities who despise our Judeo-Christian roots work hard to convince us that religion should not influence politics in any way, shape, or form. But, unfortunately for them, there is no historic or legal basis for this interpretation of the First Amendment.
