Sending our kids to a competitive and achieving school seems to be the GOAL for many parents  

 We naively believe that if we send our kids to the BEST private or Ivy League school, EVERYTHING will be taken care of  Our kids will have a successful and happy life

Research has shown, children attending high-achieving schools are actually having MORE mental health issues 

They have the same level of mental health issues as kids in poverty, foster care, OR a parent in prison  These are some groundbreaking findings based on Dr. Suniya Luthar's decades of research  

Dr. Luthar received her Ph.D. from Yale University

She is a Professor Emerita at Columbia University  

And the Co-Founder & Chief Research Officer at Authentic Connections
