Using Social Media for Good: A Highschooler's Journey to Getting Quotes in the New York Times   

Parents, banning your kids' access to social media will NOT make there more interested in school work...  

It only backfires  From my two decades of experience as an educator, it's not uncommon for me to hear that schools and parents completely ban their kids from any access to social media  I get it  

But this action of banning is based on UNEDUCATED FEAR

How I help teens & young adults develop essential life skills through live streaming 

Numerous studies are suggesting that LIFE and SOFT SKILLS are two times MORE predictive of a person's long-term success than hard skills  

In fact, a Harvard study suggested that 85% of a person's career achievement comes from SOFT skills   

Whereas only 15% of a person's career achievement comes from hard skills  YET  

Studies have also shown that today's students are NOT developing these soft skills that they need to be a job- and future-ready
