I sat down with my friend Andrew (Bubba) Snodderly to have a conversation about racial injustice, truly loving our neighbor well, what God has been teaching us lately, and more. I really wanted to have him on the podcast to hear his perspective and opinions on things. He is passionate about seeing the church take its place of leading in the movement of racial reconciliation. Something that stands out to me that he said during this interview was, "The church can no longer be silent unless the church collectively denies the demands of Jesus." He did not come to play in this one! Join us as we talk about moving forward in racial reconciliation and loving our neighbor well. Â
Also, Bubba has a podcast! It is light and funny and called Way Too Much Nothing. I've linked it below! Happy listening, friends.Â

Welcome to Season 3! On this episode of the podcast, me and Amy King are talking about listening, learning, and understanding when it comes to racial discrimination and reconciliation. We invite you into this conversation with us, all are welcome. We acknowledge that we will make mistakes along the way as we actively speak out against racism. We are learning and in that process things won't always come out exactly right. We ask for your grace. We know that we have no option but to speak out, it is ignited on our hearts to do so. Jesus went straight to the hurting, oppressed, and marginalized. He did not pause or ask questions first. He went. A quote that Amy shared from her most recent blog post sums up quite well what we talk about in this episode; "Where there are people suffering, God is there. As God's people, we need to be there too." Join us as we talk about the necessity and significance of listening, learning, and understanding. Much love, friends. Â
*Romans 2:4- "...God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance..."

My mom is on the show today! She is talking to us about her experience of being a homeschool parent. Right now, so many parents are navigating schooling at home. Me and my mom sit down and talk about her time of being a homeschool mom, why she decided to homeschool, what helped her do it along the way, what God has taught her through it, and encouragement she has for others who are in the thick of it right now. I also share some of my experiences and stories, including a funny one of how I learned about what lane not to drive through at an elementary school. It was great having my mom on the show this week. She can speak to being a parent and schooling at home because she has experienced it and did it for many years. We are here for the parents who are educating their kids at home and hope that this episode serves as a reminder that you are not alone, and you can do this! Â

I wrote the words "Always More" on my graduation cap. Here's why- God does immeasurably more than we could ever ask for or imagine. That is true all the time, and there was no exception to that as I went through college. I am sharing all about my thoughts and feelings on school and graduating, what God has done and taught me over these years, how my graduation day was way more than I expected, and how you are SO able to chase your dreams. Love you, friends! Happy listeningÂ

I am so excited to introduce you to my new friend, Katie Bulmer. She is an author, speaker, podcaster, and has a heart for mentoring girls in their 20's! I love that because, well, that is me! In this episode we talk about why having a mentor is important, encouragement for someone who may think they are too young or unqualified to be a mentor themselves, how to practically find and be a mentor, Katie talks about her experience as a mentor, and so much more! Katie shares with us some super valuable wisdom on this topic. I had so much fun talking with her and can't wait for you to hear our conversation! Â
