I am joined today by my friend, Jen Roland. Jen is a blogger, speaker, writer, and health coach who is passionate about seeing lives transformed through Jesus. In this episode, we are talking specifically about stress and anxiety; how to deal with those things, what God teaches us through them, the pace in which we live our lives, etc. We covered a lot of ground on this topic, and I can't wait for you to hear it! Jen shares wisdom about practical steps we can take to combat stress & anxiety, how community matters, about how God is growing us in this season, and so much more. This is such a necessary conversation and I am so glad that I got to have it with Jen. Â

Singleness, let's talk about it! This episode is all about having and building confidence in singleness. How do we handle rejection? Frustration? When our expectations aren't met? We are getting into all of these things and more in this one! Singleness can involve some difficult times, but having confidence is a game-changer! There is beauty in those hard times because they are opportunities to grow closer to Jesus and find out more about what he has for us. Now that is grace upon grace! Let's know Whose we are, who we are, and walk in confidence. Â

The foods that we eat impact us in so many ways. This episode is about nourishing ourselves through the foods that we eat! I share about my personal experience with eliminating certain foods, adding certain ones, how eating the wrong foods have effected me, and how nourishing foods have helped me lately. I am not a professional and am not a nutritionist, this episode is all about things that have worked for me. But I wanted to share about them with you all as this has been something on my mind lately and hopefully it encourages you to use food to help your body thrive! Â

Have you ever been there? Our plans not going as planned can come in many different forms. It can be heart wrenching at times, frustrating, disorienting, etc. In this episode I talk about a time that I'm currently going through where my plans are not working out in the way I had anticipated. I also talk about a more widely known event where things didn't go as planned; the Ravens loss this past weekend. When our plans don't go as planned and adversity rises up, that is an invitation to us from God to grow deeper in and closer to him. Now that is grace upon grace.
