What Makes Me Weird? with Joel Sharpton

In this special episode of Me and the Geek, I'm joined by my sister, Jena, my mother Jamie, Aunt Ann and cousin Michael to honor our mother/grandmother, Hazel Odell Hodges who passed away June 7th, 2015. This is just a glimpse of the stories we have about her, but I hope you enjoy hearing them as much as I enjoyed collecting them.

We love you, Nana.

This week two Apple Fanboys discuss the new Google Photos app and service. Why they don't want to like it, and why they love it anyway.

This week, Joel is joined by Alicia Goodman (@ali_maddie on Twitter) to discuss all the shiny they can't afford, and the goodies we'll all get for free from WWDC, Apple's World Wide Developers Conference.

Kyle Sweeney (@kyleisfunny) is back in the hotseat to continue our discussion of the latest Avengers film and the future of the MCU.

This week on Me and the Geek, Joel pulls back the curtain to show “how the sausage is made” by talking to the CEO of Ringr, Tim Sinclair.

Like Joel, Tim’s background in Radio led him to be a bit of an audio snob for podcasts. But Tim found a solution for his, Joel’s and maybe your problem with the Ringr app available now for iPhone and Android devices.

A movie so big, Joel and Kyle had to make TWO episodes about it!

In this first part, the geeks give a spoiler-free review of the new blockbuster, then break down the individual character arcs for each Avenger. Stay tuned for Part 2 in your feed and on our site soon.

In this episode Jake and Joel discuss his art, his political aspirations and his upcoming season on Fake Off.

As Avengers: Age of Ultron's release arrives, Joel and Matt revisit the first massive super-hero team-up film to discuss it's brilliance, it's missteps and what they expect and hope for from the sequel.

Check out Joel's per-episode video reviews for Daredevil here.
