In Warm Springs Arkansas, a religion-based adolescent mental health facility was scattered down long dirt roads and behind thick clusters of trees.

Nobody would have ever guessed that a large chunk of the town was owned by one single family. The family owned a residential treatment facility that was spread throughout the larger houses in the town. It harbored kids from parts of Texas, Chicago, and even all the way up in Alaska. Some kids stayed for months--others for years.  Bud Suhl showed us that if you make the right connections, even as a felon, you can talk your way into millions.

Ted Suhl is either learning that lesson now, or after decades of exploiting children, he's financially set for life. I'd lean towards the latter.
