James 5 - Gives the wisdom from above, regarding riches. 

Ps 90:1-12 - Teaches us the value of trusting and fearing God during our short span on earth. 

James tells us that life is fragile and temporary. We do best when we live it with the wisdom from above. Jas 4:13-17; Luke 12:16-21

God's wisdom, His word, always points us to God! Our faith and hope are in God (1 Pet 1:21). So, God tells His people about Him, knowledge of God puts our desires and the world around us into proper perspective (Isa 40:1-31).

Friends give us counsel, guidance, and comfort. God paid the price to be our friend when He gave His Son up for us. The wisdom from above warns us against the false friendship of the world, friendship that appeals to the desires of our flesh. God offers us friendship that satisfies and gives life to our souls. (Jas 4; Jn 15).

In every issue of life we are looking for wisdom from above- for Christ Jesus, wisdom from God.  6/26/22 PM
