We are speaking to him about his journey from childhood, collecting Spiderman and X-Men comics, and how the comic book industry has transformed over the decades to become larger than life, or at least as big as an IMAX screen. Follow along as we describe the history of comic books, decade by decade, while Ryan provides his perspective and input, especially on what it felt like to learn that a comic book from his childhood was becoming a wide-screen movie. It was a child's dream come true!

We will discuss how to find comic books that could increase in value one day, or at least, how to not get duped into overpaying for one that doesn't have much value.

Finally, we will dive into what Ryan's motivation was for collecting and what actually might pull collectors into wanting to collect more and more.

A great reference is a book by Shirley M. Mueller, M.D., called Inside The Head of a Collector: Neuropsychological Forces at Play, but we ran out of time to psychoanalyze Ryan...this time!
