In this episode, I tell the story of the time I used to own a small business and how that experience had a traumatizing effect on my life. 
We go through a range of experiences in our lives and generally, we learn valuable lessons through them. My small business experience has certainly taught me many things that I use to improve my life. However, that experience has brought ongoing hardships that I face to this day. 
By telling my story, I hope to shed some light on some real and raw thoughts that will make someone else feel less alone.

This kind of pressure is the reason why so many young adults get burnt out so easily. There's a lot of expectations that are set of us so it can be really difficult to know if we're not getting enough rest, getting enough rest, or getting too much rest.

You've read the title of this episode and now you're thinking "WTF?" 
We've become so used to using the word "lazy" that we don't realize the harm it causes for some of us. 
For years, I've been telling myself that I'm a lazy person, thinking that it would justify whenever I didn't want to do something. By doing that, I was digging a deeper hole for my mental illness. Now, I try my best to not use that word anymore. 
To some of you, this episode won't apply to you and that's fine! But if you have some mental health issues, especially in your 20s, then I think this short episode might be beneficial to you. 

I don't recall many times where I've NOT been jealous of someone else in my life... can you relate to this? 
Everyone always seems to have all the things that we want, which makes it hard to appreciate the things that we have cause we're always chasing what someone else has. 
Jealousy and envy are truly poisonous - how can we live a happy life if we spend our time wishing that we had someone else's life? 
In this episode, I openly share how jealousy has impacted me both in the past and recently. It can be hard to admit, but it's the first step to be able to heal and move on from these emotions.
It's not easy to move on from jealousy when it's a feeling you've experienced your whole life, so I share ways to try and cope so that I can enjoy and appreciate the things that I have :) Happy listening!

I've met SO many people who are people pleasers. At our age, it's pretty common given that we want to make lots of friends and not be on anybody's bad side. 
While it seems like being a people pleaser might be beneficial to people around you, it also happens to be one of the worst forms of self-sabotage. 
It's ironic because you're pleasing everybody but yourself. 
In this episode, I share my detailed thoughts as a people-pleaser myself and how I try to alter those thoughts in a healthy way so that I learn to put myself first.

You've probably experienced motivation blocks in your life, and they can leave you feeling really low in energy, discouraged and maybe even depressed. Being in your 20s, this can be so frustrating when you're trying your hardest to navigate your life all whilst having a bunch of tasks on your shoulders to get done. 
As someone who is unmotivated on the daily, I share my thoughts on how lack of motivation affects my life and how I manage around this feeling in order to make peace with my thoughts so that I can continue to live my life in the most productive way I can without feeling totally useless :') .
