Before graduating from NYU’s prestigious film school, Laura Terruso never thought she could tell stories in Hollywood. She grew up with humble beginnings in Brooklyn - her dad’s a social worker, her mom is an Italian immigrant and local school teacher. Now, she is the director of the recently released rom-com film, About My Father, starring Robert De Niro, Kim Cattrall and Sebastian Maniscalco.
