And speaking of Oscar buzz - we also have "Nomadland" starring Frances McDormand as a woman in her sixties who, after losing everything in the Great Recession, embarks on a journey through the American West, living as a van-dwelling modern-day nomad. Neil tells us about "The Prom" which stars Nicole Kidman, Meryl Streep and James Corden. It's a musical about a troupe of hilariously self-obsessed theater stars swarm into a small conservative Indiana town in support of a high school girl who wants to take her girlfriend to the prom. Has it got your toes tapping? Then there's "Godmothered" which stars Jillian Bell as a young and unskilled fairy godmother ventures out on her own to prove her worth by tracking down a young girl whose request for help was ignored. Too wholesome for you? Then how about "A Teacher" which stars Kate Mara and explores the complexities and consequences of a predatory relationship between a young teacher at a suburban Texas high school and her student, And then we take on last week's finale of "The Undoing" on HBO. There are spoilers galore so we won't go into detail here. But what the heck was all that? Anyway, take a break from adding to cart and listen in. Your packages aren't going to arrive on time anyway.
