On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by Joe From Queens to discuss several topics, including going back to revisit their Buffalo Bills individual and team predictions made before the 2024 season started, figuring out what they got right and wrong.
In an episode that dropped before the season started, Patrick and Joe each made 20 Bills predictions for the season. Most inaccurate predictions discussed included Patrick thinking Tyler Bass wasn't going to finish the season with the team as well as Ray Davis coming close to James Cook's production, while and thought the Bills would win just nine games and not be a top ten team in scoring.
They also got plenty right, which leads to a fun conversation and a lot more perspective on a season that culminated by making it to the AFC championship game, which is farther than most people had them going.
They also spend a few minutes talking about the Buffalo Sabres, who won their third straight game on Sunday but that doesn't stop Patrick from ripping into them after they failed to take up for star forward Tage Thompson taking a cheap shot to his head.
The guys also react to the wild Luka Doncic/Anthony Davis NBA trade, have several thoughts on this weekend's WWE Royal Rumble and tons more.
Major props to Talking Buffalo sponsor, Sonny Red’s at 1841 Abbott Road in Lackawanna, just minutes from Highmark Stadium. We consider them THE most underrated spot for wings, pizza and other great food in Western New York plus it’s a great place to drink and have a great time.
