Tune in for inspiring life story of one of the founders of this podcast series, originally recorded in October.
Kelly was a person who once described himself as "living life dead." He grappled with many of the problems us humans face such as: divorce, addiction, fear and anxiety, regret, and self-doubt.
Nonetheless, during the last couple years of his life, Kelly experienced a psychological freedom many folks never do. He honored his creative gifts for making music and plunging into the own to run his own business centered around music and technology. He listened to others deeply and without a personal agenda. He came to understand love and life in a completely new way, truly finding inner peace. This potential is on offer for every human being on the planet and is the reason why I will continue the message of practical hope found in these podcast episodes.
Kelly was the definition of courage and human potential. He never lost that kid-like zest for life that so many of us do. He showed his enthusiasm for the people, music, and projects he supported and loved -- and he showed his support fearlessly.
His life and passing has changed my life forever. In this way, the "student" truly became the "teacher."
I encourage you to learn more about Kelly and his music. We interviewed him on this show on the "What To Do When A Loved One is Addicted" shows. You can google Kelly Monsrud and find him on YouTube and Soundcloud, with Blue Dream one of his original musical works.
