Every comedian has to start somewhere, and every experienced comedian needs to start a new joke somewhere: the Open Mic. Testing ground for new jokes and new comedians. I travel to different Open Mics in the Netherlands and then talk to comedians before and after their set, asking them: What were you thinking? We interview them about their material, and how they experienced how it went and how they will tinker the material.
