This question came up recently in response to my video on BearX Crossbows and also when I talked about Ravin’s new 500fps crossbow: What would Fred Bear say about modern crossbows, or even modern archery? Remember, he started hunting with a traditional bow before compound bows were even invented! And although crossbows existed at the time, he was a traditional archer only throughout his life. What would he have chosen if he had a full plate of options like we do today?
